My QAR strategy question for my class blog

QAR QUESTIONS

"RIGHT THERE": What did George P. Johnson do before he fell asleep?

"THINK AND SHARE": How would you describe George's dream?

"AUTHOR AND YOU": What is another suitable title for the story?

"ON YOUR OWN": If you were George, would you have heeded or disobeyed McFeeglebee's rules?

I think that your questions are great because they encourage deeper thinking. I especially like your 'on your own' question. It encourages the reader to make connections with his own experiences and to empathize with the character. To me George is a typical boy who likes to have adventures even though he defies the rules. Though some people may think he was really just naughty and disobedient.

I would like to share with you my 'right there' question- "Why did George go to the pond?" and 'author and you'- "Did George just have a vivid imagination?" I know it is similar to one that was posted before but the 'author and you' questions are a bit difficult for me to generate.
What do you think?

I agree with your opinion of George and your questions are great as well Ithink you right there questions is close to a 'think and share' because to have to read a bit more to getthe answer.
